450V 5UF to 60UF CBB65 Start Capacitor for Air Conditioner Motor Running and Starting

Wrapped in a metal aluminum shell with a one-way lead and filled with  castor oil inside, and with metallized polypropylene film used as the electrode and dielectric. The electrode and plastic film are overlapped and rolled into a rectangular or cylindrical shape. 

Working Principle:

A start capacitor is a temporary electrical component used in some types of electric motors, particularly single-phase motors, to assist with the motor's initial startup. It provides an initial surge of electrical energy to create a rotating magnetic field that helps the motor overcome its inertia and begin rotating. Once the motor reaches a certain speed, the start capacitor is typically disconnected from the circuit by a mechanism like a centrifugal switch.
When power is applied, the start capacitor stores an electrical charge and releases it rapidly into the motor's auxiliary winding. This surge of energy creates a magnetic field that's out of phase with the main winding, resulting in a rotating magnetic field that pulls the rotor into motion.
